Moringa (Drumstick) Seeds

Wanted drumstick leaves for sambar and adai, not a big farm project. Planted three seeds behind our kitchen window area. Two germinated fast and the third followed later. Enough for my small home garden plan.

I planted twelve seeds in three different pots. One pot did very well, one was average, one had only a single sprout. Same packet, different soil results. Overall the seed batch seems fine.

I wanted only a few plants, not a big quantity. This packet suited that. Germination was around 75% in my case, planted in black grow bags. Good enough for home leaf use.

A few seeds woke up late, almost after 12 days. Don’t disturb the soil too early. I was about to replant, then saw new shoots. Overall happy, just not uniform timing.

Good seeds, two failed.

Seeds sprouted well, but ants disturbed one corner of my tray. After moving the pot stand into water cups, the remaining seedlings settled. Product worked, my setup needed correction.
